Every day Mercy Volunteers enter classrooms to instruct neglected students, walk the night in freezing temperatures to offer a safe place to those without a home, and provide medical services to individuals who are suffering. On this national day of giving, we are asking for your continued help to provide resources for each Mercy Volunteer as they directly serve 20,000 of our society’s most vulnerable individuals.
Please consider making a gift during Giving Tuesday either online by visiting www.MercyVolunteers.org/donate or by mailing a check to our main office. Please know that any gift amount will have a direct impact on people who are poor and marginalized and we are grateful for your support!
You can help support this campaign by participating in a friendly competition and donating your year of service! For example, 2006 volunteers will donate $20.06. Mercy Volunteer Corps will be tracking alumni participation in this event and giving away MVC water bottles to the alumni year with the highest percentage of participation.
To help raise awareness in the days leading up to this day of giving please share a photo of you or your community on Social Media with a link to our donation page and a description of how MVC has impacted you. We are using the hashtags #HelpUsHelpThem #MercyVolunteers and #GivingTuesday for this campaign.
You can help us spread the word about our campaign by sharing the video above on your social media accounts and by using #GivingTuesday #MercyVolunteers and #HelpUsHelpThem in your posts. Mercy Volunteer Corps thanks you for your continued example of living in the spirit of Mercy, especially during this season of giving!
