Looking for a professional placement to use your education skills?

MVC OFFERS EDUCATION PLACEMENTS IN THE USA AND SOUTH AMERICA.

Mercy Volunteers serving in the education field are placed either in a classroom or at an enrichment program. Classroom experience is available for elementary, high school, paraprofessional, workforce development, and special education. Some Mercy Volunteers serving in the education field apply for graduate school during their year of service. MVC is very supportive and will work with you to accommodate interviews for school. Make sure to check out our education discounts for MVC alumni!

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Interviews are set up in an applicant’s geographical area. Submit your application by January 20th for priority in selecting your service site and city!

“My most significant accomplishment has been getting my student with the most stereotypical autistic behavior to trust me. He now hugs me more than he clobbers me with sticks, which is a lot of hugs. I think I’ve put in enough time here to really feel comfortable in my classroom, and with this student in particular, it feels like he’s giving back.”

-Jacob Lundy ’16: St. Michaels, Arizona
